Welcome to the Healthy Lives LLC

Healthy Lives is Substance Abuse / Mental Health Agency founded in 2013 by Ahmein Watson LCSW-C, LCADC. Our mission is to aid those in time of need while improving quality of life. We have effected change in the lives of individuals, families and communities facing substance abuse and mental health challenges within the Maryland area. We provide mental health therapy and drug and alcohol treatment in an innovative, engaging manner to adults and minors. In addition we educate the public about mental health and substance abuse via our mobile booth and speaking engagements.

Healthy Lives, LLC also operates a nonprofit transitional program, Succor Transitional Program (STP). STP assists individuals with difficulty establishing independence. Many of our clients have severe health issues, are recently released from prison, homeless, or simply going through a stressful change where housing and associated needs have become difficult to attain. STP operates on a Phase process that is created to reach optimal success outcomes with each participant and is based on individual progress.

Helping people establish a secure foundation for success is our main goal. Healthy Lives is dedicated to service and will not allow minimal income to be a barrier to treatment and help. In order to fulfill this goal Healthy Lives offers a sliding fee scale for all clients receiving serves and a "Pay What You Can" model for clients interested in our transitional program. We also accept MD Medicaid as well as private insurance. No client is turned away due to inability to pay.

Please contact Healthy Lives if you would like to learn more about our programs or if you would like to make a referral.
